Before you book and what to expect: 

 

• Please come in with clean, lotion-free skin. Lotions and body oils can prevent henna or jagua from staining. Also be prepared to avoid water for 12-24 hours to ensure a dark, lasting stain. Henna stains take 48 hours to fully darken/mature, jagua stains take 24 hours. If you are wanting a design for a certain day, make sure you book with enough time for your stain to mature. 

 

• If you are wanting a jagua design, please specify so in the "add your message" section at the time of booking. Keep in mind that jagua may raise sensitivities for people with allergies to citrus or strawberries, and may not be applied for this reason.

 

• You are only charged for the amount of time it takes us to apply your design. Application is faster and cleaner on hairless skin - this does not mean you are required to remove hair from the application area prior to your appointment, but it is preferred. If you are wanting a design on an area other than the hands, make sure you wear appropriate clothing/footwear to accommodate wet henna/jagua paste.

 

• If you are wanting both hands done, or the palms of your hands done, you may require a ride home from your appointment as it will be difficult to drive with henna or jagua paste on. 

 

• After choosing your service, you will be able to see all available appointment times. If the day/time you want is not available, accommodations may be possible for certain service bookings, like bridal applications or events, if you contact us with enough notice. No accommodations will be made for private appointments.
